Control reverb

Bonjour a tous,

I was browsing youtube the other day and found a video where JT from kibir la amlak is mixing a tune. In this video you can see him controlling the sound of the reverb on the snare with a fader, but what exactly is he controlling/doing? This is this video:

I think he is just using the Aux send on the snare to control how much of the snare sound goes into the reverb. With his other hand he might be controlling the reverb return level (black fader). Man I love this mixer!
